Spring Break 2008

Dear Friends,

Nearby Bernice State Park has lots of fun things for the young and young at heart. Activities are for children of all ages and will be held rain or shine! Children under 12 must be accompanied by and adult. Come dressed to be outside. For additional information contact Amanda Wiley at Bernice Nature Center. 918.257.8330.

Bring your Easter baskets and your running shoes and run for the eggs. Prizes awarded by age group up to age 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult on park property.

Spring Break Activities Bernice State Park Nature Center MARCH 17-21 Monday 3/17 Getting to Know You Explore Nature Center and Trails Tuesday 3/18 Don't Bug Me Which creepy crawlies crawl around you???? Wednesday 3/19 Treemendous Trees of Oklahoma and make a treemendous souvenir of your journey Thursday 3/20 Naturalist???? What is that? Can you be one? Could you be a volunteer at the nature center? Friday 3/21 Scavenger Hunt The hunt is on and is followed by the making of an EDIBLE LAKE!

3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturda March 22nd at 1 pm Bring your Easter Baskets and grab those eggs! Egg hunt age groups are: Newborn-3yrs 4-6yrs 7-9yrs 10-12yrs Prizes for each group and a chance at the GRAND PRIZE! THE HUNT IS ON COME RAIN OR SHINE!
