needed immediately for our neighbors in Picher! As we sat on the island
grateful the storms were passing North and South of us, the community of
Picher was leveled. A call has gone out looking for basic items while
residents are being housed in shelters and beginning to regroup. Blankets,
pillows, sheets, towels, washcloths and gently worn clothing/new clothing
of all shapes and sizes... basics... are needed. Some of your neighbors are
already on the way to the shelters to help and will transport the
donations. Take your contributions to the Airport/Touch and Go as
soon as you can. THE NEEDS ARE IMMEDIATE AND URGENT!
