Patriotic Show Honors Veterans on Flag Day Weekend

The 2009 Flag Day Weekend Patriotic Show starring Terry Jordan and Kelli Pate, will be presented Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14 at the Playmakers Theatre in Grove, Oklahoma. The two-hour show is packed with patriotic music, American Folk Songs, and a spectacular segment recognizing all Veterans of the Armed Forces.

Guest star, Kelli Pate, is a well-remembered performer from Monkey Island during the 1980s, before taking the stage at Music Country USA and ultimately moving onward to Branson. Her vocal ability and infectious comic personality combine for extraordinary audience appeal.

“After many years, the duo is together again and I know many folks around the lake will be eager to hear us weave our musical magic,” says Terry Jordan, referring to his old sidekick. Jordan is respected as Grand Lake’s Favorite Pianist and dazzles audiences with professional talent, showbiz expertise and beautiful singing. He first came to Grand Lake as Director of Music Country USA and has called Grove his home for nearly 25 years.

Tickets for either of the two performances are $19 each or $35 per couple. Veterans receive a discount. Reservations are strongly suggested for the 8 pm curtain Saturday and 2 pm Sunday. Call The Playmakers, 918-786-8950, or email: 1groveplaymakers@sbcglobal.net.
