wants to help you celebrate
in style
Easter is here! Despite the snowfall on the
first day of spring it's beautiful. Daffodils and crocus abound
and the bluebird's are nesting. (no nose jokes please)
There are two Grand Easter Egg Hunts in our area!
The Monkey Island Assn & Lake Center Baptist
Church are once again hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. It is planned
for Saturday April 3rd
11am at the Church. We will be hiding eggs, providing cookies and
drinks. I hear a hot dog roast is also planned so bring your
Easter Basket (no bonnets required) and join the fun! It's a
grand family event.
Later in the day our friends at Bernice State Park are also
hosting a big Egg Hunt! It is scheduled for 1pm. Once again bring
your baskets! So you can fill your basket twice if you
like! Good Hunting to ALL!
Sunrise Services are planned at Lake Center
Baptist for Easter at 7am. Such a beautiful Easter Tradition,
don't you think? Followed by breakfast in
the Fellowship
Hall. Later in the morning at 11am the choir is
presenting " I know my Redeemer Lives" an Easter Cantata
at Service. Lake Center invites one and all so know you are
welcome in this space.
Want to treat the whole family to a Grand Easter
Feast? Anna's
Bananas is ready for you! We are posting their menu for you below.
Also your friends at The Shebang do a lovely Sunday Brunch. The
Quartedeck has opened for the season as has Ozzies and of course Island
Joe's Kentena for deck dining and feasting by boat.
The Landings Marina is now leasing slips
ya'll and we will certainly let you know when their grand opening is
scheduled.
