††††††††††† The 27th Annual Pelican Festival is right around the corner and we are preparing all the events, booths and entertainment now. †The Grand Lake Association and the Grove Area Merchants will be working together on the Festival.
††††††††††† We should have a great Festival this year, but we need your help as we get ready for the big event. †If you are planning on having a booth at the Arts and Crafts Fair at the Grove Community Center, we are taking applications now and space is filling up fast. †
††††††††††† The parade has also been one of the biggest events at the Festival and we are taking applications for the parade. †Every entry must have a Pelican theme or some Pelican related logo on the float. †We will have a golf cart parade, bands and plenty of other great entries. †So please let us know as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
††††††††††† We are going to have great entertainment with a concert from Jason Meadows, a magic show from Doug Anderson and lots of talent from around the area.
††††††††††† Har-Ber Village will be offering free admission on Saturday the 25th and the Pelican Tours given by the Cherokee Queen will be going on during the weekend. †We will be having the Arts and Crafts exhibits at the Community Center and the Carnival at the Grove Civic Center.
