Jana Jae Fiddle Camp Labor Day Weekend in Grove, OK

Grand Lake Festivals, Inc is hosting the 15th annual Jana Jae Fiddle Camp September 4, 5 & 6 in Grove, Oklahoma.  It all starts Friday evening, Sept. 4, with a kickoff party, barbecue dinner, and jam at Snider's Camp. Saturday evening is also lakeside at Snider's Camp for a fish fry, entertainment, amateur fiddle contest, and more.  The public is invited to enjoy some great entertainment as musicians from across the nation gather to meet old and new friends and practice up for a great weekend of sharing, learning, and playing.  Participants for this fun weekend of learning can go to www.grandlakefestivals.com for details and online registration for great fiddle coaching by 18 of the best, including Jim "Texas Shorty" Chancellor, Jana Jae, many others of note.  Rex Gillentine will offer a guitar workshop, Russ Weeks holds a mandolin workshop, etc, etc, great jamming, great food, great fun, right in the center of the country in the foothills of the Ozarks on beautiful Grand Lake, Grove, OK. 

Sept 5 and 6, the Grove Civic Center hosts workshops and master classes. All levels and ages are included--those who play by note or by ear, advanced players and adult or young beginners. It's an inspiring weekend filled with tips for better playing and help with individual problems or questions. All acoustic musicians are welcome!!  Everyone takes home new ideas and techniques for competing in contests, performing, or just to enjoy.

Mark your calendars for September 4, 5 & 6 to enjoy an exciting weekend.  Bring your lawn chairs to Snider’s Camp and relax on Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees while enjoying all the activities planned for your enjoyment by host Jana Jae and volunteers of Grand Lake Festivals.  Entertainment is free, food is $8 a plate.  Snider’s Camp is located 1 mile south and ½ mile east of Honey Creek Bridge in Grove, Oklahoma.
